Here I have two sub- categories consisting of works on either MDF- plates or canvas.
On MDF I have produced two series; Arising and Colour Ellipse.
Within both series I have paid careful attention to the foundation of the works by applying multiple layers of classic chalk gesso, thus creating a tactile and absorbent surface resembling handmade paper. With Arising, I used airbrush for the first time, and with Colour Ellipse I chose to explore the infinite possibilities of collage by covering them in silicone and finally mergeing them with the oval plates.
